Social Media & Content Creation Intern

Lemon Collective Creative Agency is a branding, website, social media and design agency based in the Niagara Region, working with clients of all sizes across North America to build strong brands, craft thoughtful marketing strategies and design content and websites that tell a story. 

We're looking for a Social Media & Content Creation Intern to join our women-led team and help bring even more personality to the brands we work with! Please Note: This is a contract-based internship position. You'll be expected to submit bi-weekly (or monthly if preferred) invoices for your hours worked.

  • Social Media & Content Creation Intern

  • 4 Months (with possibility of extension)

  • Part Time - 10 Hours/Week at $18.50/Hr

  • Remote (with the ability  to travel in Niagara Region and Greater Toronto Area for content shoots if/when applicable)

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing support to our social media team

  • Writing captions and creating social media content for Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms (predominantly Instagram)

  • Video editing and graphic design using tools like Canva, CapCut (Adobe Creative Suite experience is a bonus but not required!)

  • Getting familiar with our workflow using Notion and Slack

  • Learning the ins and outs of social media strategy and account management

  • Working with clients in health, wellness, lifestyle, and coaching industries

  • Occasionally joining content shoots in the Niagara & GTA area (when possible)

  • Repurposing content across various social media platforms.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Someone who loves social media and follows trends (especially Instagram)

  • Comfortable with content creation and has an eye for what works

  • Organized and ready to learn our systems

  • Excited to learn about social media strategy beyond just posting

  • Available for around 10 hours per week

  • Experience with creating engaging videos and graphics
